Business Development Lead

Leicester

26,000 - 30,000 + Company Bonus + Sales Bonus + Training + Benefits

A great opportunity has just become available for a motivated and ambitious individual to join a Leicester based company within the Sales Department. You will be someone that has worked in a account management/Business Development type position, ideally within an Engineering or Manufacturing company.

The Role:

  • Reporting to branch manager.
  • Taking enquiries from customers over the phone in a professional manner.
  • Investigating, researching and finding NEW business opportunities from dormant and new accounts.
  • Ensuring Customer service levels surpass customer expectations.
  • Creating and closing quotations/enquiries and recording them down in an accurate manner.
  • Issuing quotes to customers on the day it is collated and contacting the customer to inform them of any delays.
  • To produce all aspects of quotes as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Following Sales Strategies created and implemented by the Sales Director.
  • To Call Customers and chase orders, quotes and PO's.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within sales.
  • Ideally sales experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Great telephone manner.
  • Can keep calm under pressure.
  • Experienced with both upselling and hunting new business on the phone.
