Job Title: Skilled Metal Fabricator
Start Date: A.S.A.P.
Hourly Rate: 12.21 to 22 per hour DOE + company benefits

This role is temp to perm.

Shift Pattern:
Basic Hours: 7.00am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
Overtime may be required and will be compensated accordingly

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role within the metal shop at Byford Road, working as part of a highly skilled, close-knit team where attention to detail, quality, and teamwork are highly valued.
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator who is reliable, enthusiastic, and capable of delivering high-quality work under pressure. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic environment and work on a variety of bespoke metal fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will include, but is not limited to:
Working from job sheets and technical drawings to produce a wide range of fabrications and signage in aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.
Fabricating bespoke metal sign requirements to a high standard, meeting both quality and aesthetic specifications.
Operating machinery such as drills, band saws, circular saws, and other metalworking equipment safely and efficiently.
Using a variety of hand and electrical tools to complete precise fabrication tasks.
Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Assisting with quality control checks and ensuring finished pieces meet company and customer standards.
Supporting team members as required, particularly during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.

Experience and Characteristics Required:
Proven experience in metal fabrication, with a strong understanding of working with aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong, enthusiastic, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Sense of humour, friendly demeanour, and a team-oriented mindset.
