As an Asset Surveyor, you will be:
- Carrying out surveys on cavity walls for residential properties
- Evaluating the condition of buildings and identifying areas for improvement
- Advising on repairs, maintenance, and future investment needs
- Managing survey data and presenting findings to relevant teams
- Contributing to long-term property strategies
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
- Solid experience in Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related field within the housing or construction sectors
- Strong knowledge of building fabric, condition surveys, and maintenance assessments
- Proficiency with survey tools and software (ideally experience with cavity wall surveys)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in Building Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree)
- Industry experience in property or asset management, or a similar role within the housing sector
This interim role is offering:
- Hybrid working: Primarily home-based with minimal site visits required
- Competitive hourly rate of 40 per hour, transitioning to a salary of 39,000 annually upon permanent conversion
