Project Coordinator

Full Time – Permanent

Location: Leicester

Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours

Basic Salary: £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 Per Annum DOE

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Construction based companies who take pride in truly providing exceptional quality of service who have been established for over 50 years. Due to growth, they are seeking a proactive and dynamic Project Coordinator on a Full Time Permanent basis.   

Project Coordinator role:

  • As a Project Coordinator, you will closely liaise with various internal departments and stakeholders. 
  • Communicate effectively with Contractors, Subcontractors and Architects as a Project Coordinator
  • You will coordinate projects and work within budget constraints and timescales as a Project Coordinator
  • Ensure you manage and chase payment of invoices and proformas
  • Closely liaise with the Contract Team and check progress and variations if necessary
  • Support other departments as and when necessary and utilise skills experience to improve service level agreements
  • Work effectively within a busy environment and to tight deadlines as a Project Coordinator
  • Maintain a proactive attitude and ensure all project administration is carried out within SLA's and deadlines.

Project Coordinator Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Project or Contract Coordinator is ESSENTIAL  
  • Likeable and enthusiastic personality with highly dynamic and outgoing personality. 
  • Ability to work under pressure independently with a ‘problem solving’ attitude as a Project Coordinator
  • Highly competent of using all Microsoft office packages including MS Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
