We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors and clients. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations, including welcoming guests, managing deliveries, coordinating meeting room bookings, and arranging catering for meetings.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Receive and sign for parcels and deliveries, and ensure prompt distribution to the appropriate departments.
- Coordinate the booking and setup of meeting rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available.
- Organise catering for meetings and events, including liaising with suppliers and managing dietary requirements.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes in line with security procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the office as required.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
