Purchase Ledger Clerk - Hybrid - Leicester City Centre - Up to £32,000

Macildowie are working with this client based in Leicester City Centre to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annumEmployment Type: PermanentWorking Arrangement: Hybrid, Flexi-Time (Core hours: 09:00am-16:00pm Mon-Thurs, 09:00am-15:30pm Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes

  • Reconcile supplier statements

  • Manage foreign currency payments

  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems

  • Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies

  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams

  • Use Sage 200 and internal software to support finance operations

About You:

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable

  • Familiar with Sage 200 and Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate)

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

  • Able to work independently and prioritise workload

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
