Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role in Leicester?
We're currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA to support students with special educational needs in either primary or secondary settings. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while working within a supportive school environment.
About the Role:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Leicester (various school placements available)
Pay: 95-105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Start Date: ASAP or as soon as you're available
Your Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 or small group support for students with a range of additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, or physical disabilities)
Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Implementing EHCP strategies and behaviour management plans
Helping students access the curriculum and develop socially and emotionally
Liaising with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to support individual progress
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
A positive, patient, and resilient attitude
Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students and staff
Confident working in either primary or secondary school settings
Relevant qualifications or training (e.g. Team Teach, Autism Awareness, etc.) are desirable but not essential
