Hays Education is working with an SEN Nursery in Leicester to find a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible on a full-time, temporary basis. This is a term-time only position. Pupils benefit from the support of specialist practitioners who work hard to provide an inclusive Early Years education for SEN children from across Leicester. The school boasts a light room, spa room, soft play room and ICT suite - all of which contribute to a holistic approach to SEN education.Your new roleIn this job as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work with a team of specialist practitioners to support pupils with a range of additional needs to access this schools' bespoke curriculum. You'll benefit from on-going support from your Hays consultant, Hollie, who will be there for you throughout this placement and beyond.What you need to succeedTo succeed in your new job, you'll have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with SEN children aged between 2 and 5 years old. You'll be proactive and adaptable to working with children with a range of complex educational and physical needs. You'll be prepared to take on full-time hours on a term-time only basis.
