School Cleaner

Progress Teachers are supporting a local school in recruiting reliable and hardworking School Cleaners for temporary cover during October and November 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming space for pupils and staff.

Available Shifts

Morning Cleaner (1 position)
Monday to Friday – 7:00 am to 8:30 am

Afternoon Cleaners (2 positions)
Monday to Thursday – 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Friday – 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas

• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables

• Safe and correct use of cleaning materials and equipment

• Adhering to school and health & safety policies at all times

Essential Requirements

COSHH Certificate (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
Manual Handling Certificate
Previous cleaning experience (ideally in a school or similar setting)
Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a safe working environment
