Internal Sales (Medical Automation)Leicester£28,000 - £32,000Office basedThe company:We are looking for a commercially aware and technically confident Internal Sales professional to join our client. This position sits at the heart of the sales operation and plays a vital role in supporting both new and existing customers. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, providing technical guidance, processing orders, and helping to grow revenue thro ugh proactive account management.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with engineered products and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.The role:

  • Respond to inbound sales enquiries by phone and email in a timely, professional manner.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on customer requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Proactively follow up on quotes, identify opportunities to increase order values, and promote complementary products.
  • Provide first-line technical advice and product recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of solutions offered.
  • Accurately process customer orders 
  • Coordinate with stock, logistics, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor order progress and keep customers informed throughout the process.
  • Handle any order amendments, delays, or complaints with professionalism and urgency.

The candidate:

  • Experience in an internal sales, technical sales, or customer support role within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial supply desirable
  • Confident communicating technical information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with CRM 
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
