Our client, a leading UK-based valve manufacturer and automation specialist, is seeking an experienced sales professional to join their dynamic team.With over 25 years in the industry, they offer a comprehensive range of valve and automation solutions, serving diverse sectors including oil and gas, clean energy, and general process industries.

About the Role

As a Senior Sales Professional, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from identifying new business opportunities to closing deals and maintaining long-term client relationships.You will work closely with the Sales Director and other key stakeholders to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive growth across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within multiple industry sectors across the UK and Europe.

  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to ensure client requirements are met.

  • Regularly report on sales performance and market trends to the Sales Director.

Candidate Requirements
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the industrial valves industry.

  • Proven track record in sales, with the ability to manage the full sales cycle.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the UK and occasionally across Europe.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
