Customer Service Alarm Call Handler
Location: Leicester (Office-based)
Type: Temp to Perm
Pay: 12.62 per hour
Hours: 6 days on / 4 days off (40 hours per week)
Shift Patterns:
* 2 Early: 7am - 3pm
* 2 Middle: 3pm - 11pm
* 2 Late: 11pm - 7am
Includes bank holidays. You must be comfortable working alone during shifts.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a confident and reliable individual to join a dedicated team of Alarm Call Handlers. This role is essential in ensuring client safety and maintaining operational standards in a calm and focused environment.
You will be the first point of contact when an alarm is triggered, following client-specific procedures to assess the situation and escalate if necessary. You'll also proactively check alarms to ensure they're functioning correctly and pose no risk.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contacting clients to verify alarm status and safety
* Responding to alarm calls and following escalation procedures
* Standing down alarms when no danger is present
* Managing email queries and maintaining accurate records
* Ensuring 24/7 coverage with at least one person on-site at all times
Skills & Requirements:
* Previous experience in call handling or customer service
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Confident working independently and during night shifts
* Good IT skills and attention to detail
* Professional and calm telephone manner
* Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible
* Full training provided
