Leicester £15.00/hour Day Shift Permanent Full-Time

We’re recruiting for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join a respected engineering and fabrication company in Leicester, producing high-spec welded components for sectors including construction, rail, power, and agriculture.

What’s on Offer:

Hourly Rate: Up to £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00 – 17:15 (4-day week)
Location: Leicester (commutable from Hinckley, Wigston, Lutterworth, Blaby, Coalville)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Overtime: Available and paid at an enhanced rate

MIG/TIG Welder – Duties:

Carrying out MIG and TIG welding on medium to heavy gauge steel
Working from technical drawings and fabrication diagrams
Assembling and welding structural parts and fabricated components
Maintaining weld quality and appearance to meet production standards
Assisting with general fabrication tasks as needed
Producing parts for batch runs (small to medium volume work)

The Ideal MIG/TIG Welder Will Have:

Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding
Confidence working with fabrication drawings
Background in structural steel or heavy fabrication (preferred)
Good attention to detail and a pride in producing clean, consistent welds
A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
