Pay: 16.00 to 18.00 per hour

A long-established UK precision sheet-metal fabrication business based in Leicester. Specialise in cutting, forming and welding metal components working with solid engineering fundamentals.
About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled TIG Welder who knows their craft and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This is a hands-on role in a busy fabrication environment where accuracy, consistency and doing the job properly matter. If you can read a drawing, prep correctly, and lay down clean welds without cutting corners, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities:
- TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium components
- Working from engineering drawings and weld specifications
- Producing high-quality, visually clean and structurally sound welds
- Preparing materials, joint set-up and finishing to required standards
- Carrying out self-inspection to ensure work meets quality requirements
- Working to production schedules while maintaining accuracy
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and professional
About You:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Experience working with thin-gauge and precision components
- Knowledge of welding symbols and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
