* Monday - Friday: Day Shift
* Standard working week with occasional overtime available
Salary: £16.00 per hour
Overview:
An established engineering company specialising in Ventilation, and HVAC systems, is seeking a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their team on a full-time, day-shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator who takes pride in precision work and wants to be part of a professional and supportive engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel components used in ventilation and structural systems.
* Fabricate assemblies from engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Use fabrication equipment such as saws, presses, and grinders safely and efficiently.
* Carry out quality checks to ensure all welded and fabricated components meet company standards.
* Work closely with engineers and team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment, adhering to all Health & Safety regulations.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator within an engineering or HVAC-related industry.
* Strong MIG welding skills with ability to produce clean, high-quality welds.
* Confident in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
* Knowledge of ventilation or structural fabrication work is advantageous.
* Good mechanical understanding and practical problem-solving ability.
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
