Location: Hybrid - 3 days in the studio in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex and 2 days remote

Our client drives traffic, increases leads, & builds brand reputation online and offline through their branding, design, web design & marketing services.

The Role

They’re looking for a strategic and client-focused Digital Manager to lead digital thinking across their studio. You’ll work closely with their digital team, creatives, and directors to shape impactful marketing strategies, manage digital performance, and build strong, long-term client relationships.

This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable leading client conversations, planning digital roadmaps, and identifying opportunities for growth. You’ll guide campaign direction, content thinking, and help push the agency’s digital capabilities forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Strategy: Develop and deliver digital strategies that meet business objectives and drive long-term results
  • Campaign Planning: Lead the ideation of multi-channel campaigns in collaboration with their creative team
  • Client Relationships: Build trust and act as the go-to digital lead across your portfolio
  • Performance & Reporting: Own reporting processes, present insights, and make data-led recommendations to evolve campaigns
  • Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure quality delivery
  • Digital Growth: Identify upsell opportunities and help clients evolve their digital presence over time
  • Pitching & Onboarding: Play a key role in new business—from initial pitch through to onboarding and early-stage delivery
  • Studio Support: Contribute to studio-wide planning, digital capacity, and project prioritisation alongside their directors

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing with a focus on strategy, planning, and client service
  • Previous experience managing client relationships and presenting campaign plans
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience of paid (Google Ads, Paid Social), campaign funnels, performance tracking and optimisation
  • Comfortable working with creative teams to generate content ideas that convert
  • Confident leading meetings, presenting reports, and owning digital conversations
  • Experience line managing internal teams
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., GTA, GA4, Looker Studio, Meta Ads Manager)
