We’re on the hunt for a Site Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)who thrives in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and can tackle challenges head-on.
This role is 100% onsite with a rotating shift pattern:
6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm (Monday to Friday)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets – from mould and power presses to pumps, conveyors, and other essential kit.
- Providing smart engineering solutions when parts aren’t available – whether that’s retrofitting, reverse engineering, or modifying equipment.
- Keeping everything safe and efficient, following best practice maintenance techniques and Health & Safety regulations.
- Recording accurate maintenance and inspection logs.
- Mentoring and supporting apprentices to help them level up their skills.
What We’re Looking For
- Recognised UK electrical qualifications.
- Strong experience with PLC-controlled plant and equipment.
- Proven fault-finding and repair skills.
- Background in a fast-paced production environment.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset – this is not an electrical installation role.
