About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established MEP contractor for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to be based out of their Leigh office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business delivering mechanical services across commercial and industrial projects throughout the region.
This is an office-based role with one day per week on site, offering a great balance between project oversight and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mechanical packages across multiple commercial and industrial projects
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments
- Provide technical support and resolve issues as they arise
- Report regularly to senior management on project performance
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical project management within the MEP/building services sector
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office
Package Includes:
- Salary: Up to 70,000 per annum
- Car Allowance: 5,000
- Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
- Working Arrangement: Office-based with 1 day per week on site
