Hygiene Technician - Leigh
Hygiene Technician is responsible for overseeing and motivating a team of Hygiene Operators to deliver all aspects of the hygiene activities across the site. Ensuring that all hygiene activities are completed in line with food safety requirements and legislation.

What's the role about?
The role of Hygiene Technician involves working closely with the Hygiene team and Production to ensure our site has the highest standards of hygiene, housekeeping and other manufacturing practices (GMP). Organising and distributing workload required of the shift with clear communication and handover between shifts. You will also be required to engage with business objectives to meet environmental obligation by working in line with recycling and waste management program and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

- Has an in depth understanding of GMP requirements and the ability to ensure these are adhered to across the team, giving constructive feedback when necessary.
- Has had experience working in a Hygiene function previously and understands requirements.
- Be able handle a high level of responsibility, maintaining focus.
- High level of numeracy and literacy as well as working accurately in completing paperwork and in calculations.

Salary: £36,308.24 per annum
