Class 1 Driver

Class 1 ADR Driver - Trunking
Location: Leigh
Shift times: Monday to Friday starting at 10pm - 9am
Pay Rate: 18 per hour

We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Drivers to join us at our site in Leigh with an immediate start on a temporary ongoing basis!

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• A local collection first then a trunk up to Carlisle to drop freight into a regional partner then travel back empty
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
• Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork
• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

Requirements:

• Must have a multidrop experience!
• HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and ADR licence
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude
