Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join a sweet, welcoming, and diverse primary school in the Leigh area (WN7). This Primary Teacher position is to start as soon as possible and is a full-time, long-term role, teaching a lively and friendly Year 5 class.

The school is a two-form entry setting with a warm, community feel and strong support systems in place. They are looking for a Primary Teacher who can inspire, engage, and lead their pupils with care, creativity, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities for the Primary Teacher:
  • Full class teaching responsibilities as a Primary Teacher for a Year 5 class.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

  • Assess and track progress effectively as a Primary Teacher.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

  • Work as a Primary Teacher within a collaborative and supportive KS2 team.

  • Create a classroom that promotes curiosity, respect, and independence.

The Ideal Primary Teacher Will:
  • Be a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher (ECTs also welcome to apply).

  • Be confident managing behaviour and supporting a range of abilities.

  • Be a Primary Teacher with a nurturing, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.

  • Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

  • Be committed to the progress and wellbeing of all children as a Primary Teacher.

Primary Teacher Requirements:
  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Recent references covering the last 2-3 years.
