Description
- Processing of invoices and payments.
- Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.
- Posting journals relating to payments and receipts.
- VAT returns.
- Maintain up-to-date records of transactions and financial data.
- Communicate with suppliers and customers to address financial queries.
- Help prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial tasks.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
- Assist in other finance-related tasks as required by the team.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Previous experience working as an accounts assistant.
- Proficiency in using accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle financial data accurately.
- Good communication skills for liaising with team members and external contacts.
- A proactive approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines.
Job Offer
- Salary up to 25,000 equivalent per hour - dependent upon experience.
