The team at NET Recruit are supporting a business in the educational sector that is seeking a Business Development Manager to join the team in Leighton Buzzard.  You RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Building strong working relationships over the phone with potential clients
  • Ensuring that follow ups are done in person via visits to prospects
  • Following up from this with both emails and letters
  • Managing targeted postal mailings
  • Utilising tools such as LinkedIn to prospect and scope out potential leads, as well as contacting clients via other methods of direct outreach
  • Attending exhibitions to win over new business several times per year
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the business development team, handling any escalated issues as needed

  • Charistmatic, hungry and enjoy building relationships via the phone and in person
  • Comfortable with cold-calling
  • Extensive experience within a comparable role
  • Results driven and resourceful
Your Opportunity:As a business that is focussed on providing expert services for many educational establishments, in areas such as construction and interior design, this is a highly successful organisation that is embarking on an exciting growth period. This role will sit within the Marketing & Business Development team and will lead and guide more junior members of the team, whilst driving business growth through expertly executed business development approaches and strong business relationships.A fantastic starting salary of up to £90,000 will be available as well as an enticing peripheral package including a very generous bonus scheme and the option for company profit shares. Additionally, there will also be a good holiday allowance, pension contribution and opportunity for further work benefits and monetary incentives. This role can also be worked in a hybrid manner, upon the completion of a probationary period.
