The team at NET Recruit are supporting a business in the educational sector that is seeking a Business Development Manager to join the team in Leighton Buzzard.  You RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Building strong working relationships over the phone with potential clients
  • Ensuring that follow ups are done in person via visits to prospects
  • Following up from this with both emails and letters
  • Managing targeted postal mailings
  • Utilising tools such as LinkedIn to prospect and scope out potential leads, as well as contacting clients via other methods of direct outreach
  • Attending exhibitions to win over new business several times per year
  • Supporting senior business development professionals with client outreach

  • Charistmatic, hungry and enjoy building relationships via the phone and in person
  • Comfortable with cold-calling
  • Extensive experience within a comparable role
  • Results driven and resourceful
Your Opportunity:As a business that is focussed on providing expert services for many educational establishments, in areas such as construction and interior design, this is a highly successful organisation that is embarking on an exciting growth period. This role will sit within the Marketing & Business Development team and will work alongside experienced business development professionals and support outreach and sales.A fantastic starting salary of up to £40,000 will be available as well as an enticing peripheral package including a very generous bonus scheme and the option for company profit shares. Additionally, there will also be a good holiday allowance, pension contribution and opportunity for further work benefits and monetary incentives. This role can also be worked in a hybrid manner, upon the completion of a probationary period.
