The CNC Machinist role:
- Proficient in using manual and powered hand tools (screwdrivers, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, etc.) for assembly and setup tasks.
- Experience operating CNC and NC-controlled machinery, including lathes, hydraulic presses, and grinding equipment.
- Competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, layouts, and route cards; able to follow detailed technical instructions.
- Skilled in precision measurement and self-inspection using tools such as verniers, micrometers, gauges, and electrical test equipment.
- Familiar with diagnosing and correcting faults in mechanical components and assemblies.
- Works within ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments; quality-focused with a strong understanding of compliance standards.
- Basic soldering and brazing skills are advantageous; training available as needed.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Experience in grinding, manual turning, and milling; basic CNC operation preferred
- Background in quality-controlled manufacturing environments
- Able to handle components up to 25kg with lifting aids
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Quick learner with a flexible, team-oriented approach
- Comfortable with basic PC tasks; ERP (e.g., SAP) experience a plus
Previous Experience:
- 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- HND/HNC or equivalent qualification
- Strong CNC skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
