Pay Rate:£17.00 £20.00 per hour (DOE) | Full-Time | Permanent
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with overtime offered
Synergy Plus Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client a long-established and highly respected precision engineering company based in Leighton Buzzard.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-equipped, forward-thinking engineering business that supplies high-precision components to sectors such as aerospace, medical, and defence.
The successful CNC Miller will be working with a range of CNC milling machines, including Haas and multi-axis setups, producing quality components to tight tolerances in a clean and modern workshop environment.
Set and operate CNC milling machines (3, 4, and 5-axis) mainly Haas and Hurco
Edit programs using G-code and adjust tooling/offsets as needed
Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools
Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with ISO 9001
Work independently and as part of a small, skilled team
Proven experience as a CNC Miller, ideally in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
Familiar with Haas or similar control systems
Confident with multi-axis machine setups and operation
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and measurement equipment
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work to tight tolerances
Experience with CMM inspection is a bonus
£17.00 £20.00 per hour, depending on experience
