Position - Cover Supervisor
Day rate - £120 per day
Start - September 2025
Location - Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire
A Milton Keynes Secondary School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisor to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing short-term cover for absent teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and managing student behaviour.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good level of education, ideally to degree level
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or working with young people
- A calm, confident manner, with a positive and flexible approach
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
To be a Cover Supervisor:
- A recent University Graduate ideally with a Secondary subject degree
- A current Cover Supervisor who has front of the class experience
- A youth worker or coach who again has experience of working with students
- A teaching Assistant looking to take the next step up
- A behaviour Support worker looking to get more teaching experience
