Polishing Technician Wanted!
Are you a dab hand with a grinder and an eye for detail? We're looking for a skilled Polishing Technician to join our team in Leighton Buzzard (LU7 4TB).
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for achieving pristine surface finishes on a variety of materials, from metal to wood and plastics. You'll be using hand and power tools to grind, sand, and polish, ensuring every piece meets our high quality standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Grinding & Polishing: Using a range of tools and compounds to achieve desired surface finishes on diverse materials.
- Surface Preparation: Getting surfaces ready for further finishing by removing defects or old finishes.
- Equipment Handling: Setting up, operating, and maintaining grinding and polishing machinery safely.
- Quality Control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications, identifying and correcting any imperfections.
- General Maintenance: Keeping your workspace and equipment clean and in good working order.
We're looking for someone with:
- A solid understanding of different materials and how they respond to polishing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishes.
- The ability to follow instructions and adhere to production specifications.
- A strong awareness of safety protocols when working with machinery.
