A global packaging company are looking for a customer & supplier Quality Lead to drive quality excellence, continuous improvement and managing quality standards within a manufacturing environment. 

Salary £40,000 to £46,000 plus Benefits 

Monday to Friday -Office hours. 

What You Will Do:

- Lead a team of two Quality Coordinators and form part of a wider team of five to handle customer complaints and maintain strong customer relationships.

- Collaborate with suppliers, ensuring mutual commitment and addressing challenges while understanding specifications and expectations.

- Deliver on customer quality commitments and drive improvements in quality feedback and defect reduction.

- Demonstrate and lead problem-solving efforts using proven root cause investigation methods.

- Maintain oversight of site KPIs, such as cost of quality, blocked stock, and customer satisfaction, ensuring efficient and effective processes.

- Support change management initiatives, including equipment approvals and operational changes, while ensuring alignment with global standards.

What You Will Bring:

- Proven experience in quality disciplines within an operational environment, ideally in high-volume manufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements, international standards, and quality tools and techniques.

- Relevant qualifications, such as a HND or equivalent, with additional certifications in areas like Six Sigma, auditing, or change management being advantageous.

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, applying structured approaches to problem-solving and corrective action methods.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and excellent communication skills in English.
