Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a team as a Trainee Estate & Lettings Agent. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for property and people, looking to start their career in the real estate industry. Full training and support will be provided – no prior experience is necessary.

Sales & Lettings:

  • Assist with marketing properties for sale and rent
  • Arrange and conduct viewings with prospective buyers and tenants
  • Support negotiations between landlords/sellers and tenants/buyers
  • Generate leads and follow up on enquiries

Client Relations:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and applicants
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, vendors, tenants, and buyers
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and maintain a professional front-of-house experience

Administration:

  • Assist with tenancy applications and referencing process
  • Support the preparation of property particulars, contracts, and compliance paperwork
  • Keep CRM systems and internal records up to date
  • Arrange and conduct viewings with prospective buyers and tenants
  • Support negotiations between landlords/sellers and tenants/buyers
  • Generate leads and follow up on enquiries

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in the property sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take on feedback
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, databases)
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle

Desirable:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, sales etc.)
  • Knowledge of the local property market
  • Familiarity with lettings or sales legislation (training provided)
