We’re looking for a precision-driven professional to join our Day Shift team, producing high-quality welded assemblies that meet strict aerospace standards. You’ll work from detailed engineering drawings and route cards, taking pride in craftsmanship that really takes flight.

What’s on offer for the appointed Tig Welder:

£37,000 per year with overtime available

Permanent contract – 37 hours per week

4-day working week (Monday to Thursday)

Day Shift: 6am–3:45pm or 7am–4:45pm

Friendly, supportive team and a clean, modern workshop

The selected TIG Welder will carry out the following

  • Manufacture and weld precision components to exacting aerospace standards
  • Work with Titanium, Inconel, and Stainless Steel using glove boxes and turntables
  • Maintain quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in every weld
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Keep your work area organised, safe, and audit-ready

What you’ll bring as TIG Welder:

  • Strong TIG welding experience, ideally within aerospace or precision engineering
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld data cards
  • Solid understanding of quality control and production standards
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
