Our client, a leading organisation within the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Traffic Marshall to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves coordinating and managing vehicle movement within a designated area, ensuring safety and a smooth flow of traffic, particularly on construction sites or during events.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing vehicles to ensure smooth and safe movement within the site
  • Implementing traffic control measures in line with safety guidelines
  • Communicating effectively with drivers and other site personnel
  • Monitoring and managing traffic flow to minimise disruption
  • Ensuring all vehicles adhere to site safety rules and regulations
  • Reporting any irregularities or incidents to the site manager
  • Assisting with site access and egress control
  • Maintaining accurate records of traffic movements


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in traffic management or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of traffic control measures and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations
  • Attention to detail and strong observational skills
  • Physical fitness to stand and direct traffic for extended periods
  • Relevant qualifications or certification in traffic management (preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
