Company Overview:Join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major works at Sizewell C, one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. Known for quality, safety, and innovation, this contractor offers long-term career development and a collaborative working environment.
Role Summary:We're seeking a Site Engineer to support the delivery of drainage, groundworks, and fibre-reinforced concrete (FRC) packages. You'll be responsible for setting out, quality control, and supporting site operations to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Set out works using GPS, total stations, and laser levels
  • Prepare and implement RAMS and site documentation
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks (ITPs, NCRs, DOWLs)
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate site records
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
  • Support handover and readiness reviews

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in drainage, groundworks, and FRC
  • Valid CSCS card (essential); SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable)
  • Strong technical skills in AutoCAD and surveying equipment
  • Proactive approach with a focus on safety and quality
