We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a聽dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker聽to join a warm, supportive children's residential service based in聽Leiston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and looking to take the next step in their career.
About the Role
As a聽Senior Support Worker, you'll play a key role in providing care, guidance, and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. You'll lead by example, ensuring that high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in a safe and nurturing environment.
Your duties will include:
路Supporting young people with their daily routines, education, and personal development.
路Leading shifts and supervising a team of Support Workers.
路Promoting independence, resilience, and positive outcomes for children.
路Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning.
路Ensuring safeguarding and regulatory standards are met at all times.
About You
路Previous experience in a residential childcare setting (essential).
路Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
路Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
路Passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential.
路Full UK driving licence (essential).
