Job Title: Common Services Lead
Location: Leiston (Hybrid options available)
Contract: 12-month contract (potential for long-term)
Pay Rate: Up to 800 per day (Umbrella)
About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Common Services Lead to join the Sizewell C Project - one of the UK's largest and most exciting infrastructure developments. This role offers the chance to contribute to a major low-carbon energy project that will power over 6 million homes and support the UK's Net Zero ambitions.
As the Site Operations Infrastructure & Utility Service Manager, you'll oversee the delivery, operation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure and utility contracts worth around 100m. You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective services that support a workforce of 8,000+ on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of infrastructure and utility service contracts (100m total value).
Oversee day-to-day operations of critical site infrastructure supporting construction works.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams and ensure contractors meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Drive collaboration across project controls, logistics, H&S, and delivery teams.
Monitor progress, manage budgets, report on performance, and maintain compliance with statutory permits and licences.
What We're Looking For:
Strong management/leadership experience within highways, construction, or service-led environments.
Proven success delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in highly regulated settings.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing multiple teams and large contractors.
Knowledge of NEC3 TSC contracts and budget control preferred.
HND or equivalent experience desirable.
