Hooray are delighted to be supporting a leading charity to assist in the recruitment for a Head of Finance to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Head of Finance, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Trust's financial operations, including its commercial activities
  • Manage and develop the financial systems
  • Undertake payroll, VAT, taxation, pensions, and PAYE duties
  • Support the Trust's projects and programmes with financial advice and business development support
  • Prepare long-term financial plans, annual budgets, and audited accounts
  • Report on the Trust's financial position to the Board of Trustees and the CEO
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Trust's carbon reduction plan

To be successful as a Head of Finance, you will:

  • Hold a degree in Finance / Accounting or be qualified by experience
  • Have an excellent understanding of charity accounting
  • Be confident in using cloud-based ERP finance software
  • Have a basic knowledge of charity law
  • Have experience of managing a small team

In return, my client are offering an annual salary of up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time permanent position!
