ITS Industrial are seeking a Workshop Operative on behalf of our client located six miles out of Leominster. Due to the rural location, a drivers license will be required.
Ideal applicants will have previous experience inhandling/managing the flow of goods & materials through a warehouse/workshop facility. Mechanical knowledge to build & assemble certain items would be highly beneficial.
Youwill be responsible for handling multiple tasks related to the logistic operations of the business, with opportunities for training to further progress.
Responsibilities include
- Heavy lifting when required
- Handling material/goods within the warehouse
- Handling deliveries including loading & unloading
- Support the shipping/receiving processes
What we're looking for
- Familiarity with forklift operation (not essential)
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Unloading/Loading deliveries
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to work independent
- Mechanical minded for assembly tasks
- Willing to learn & can do attitude
