Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Salary up to: £27,500 pa
Contract: Full-time, Permanent, 8 hour day between 6am-6pm Monday to Friday (dependant on the production schedule)
Our client is a well-established supplier & manufacturer of bespoke packaging. Based in Letchworth Garden City, they are looking to hire a Production Operative to work as part of a busy team, running machines producing high quality, bespoke boxing & packaging.
Main duties
- Operate production machinery and equipment to manufacture bespoke products
- Follow strict standard operating procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times, to ensure efficient and safe production processes
- Adhere to accreditation quality, hygiene, and health & safety policies in place
- Conduct product quality checks during manufacturing, and on finished products, to ensure they are carried out to ensure all items and products meet all specifications
- Assemble components as and when required
Skills required
- Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to measure and check dimensions & sizes accurately.
- Good arithmetic skills
- Experience in a busy manufacturing team environment
- Flexible approach with a can-do work ethic and must be a great team player.

Package Details
Full-time, Permanent Up to 27,500 dependent on experience.
8 hour day between 6am-6pm Monday to Friday (dependant on business schedule – The Typical hours are Monday to Friday between 08:00 to 17:00, Thursday 07:00 to 16:00).
