This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Deputy Manager or an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker who is ready to step up into leadership. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to deliver high-quality care, create a safe and nurturing environment, and ensure that young people are supported to achieve their full potential.
As Deputy Manager, you'll lead by example-mentoring staff, promoting best practice, and ensuring that care plans and routines are delivered in line with regulatory and organisational standards. 路Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in your care.
路Manage care plans, behaviour management strategies, and individual risk assessments.
路Oversee rotas, staffing levels, and budgets effectively.
路Act as the person in charge of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
路Promote the organisation's therapeutic and child-centred approach to care.
What's on Offer
路Real career growth with clear progression pathways, including opportunities to become a Registered Manager.
路Funded qualifications and full support to complete a range of QCFs, including Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
路Competitive salary and enhanced pay scales that recognise both qualifications and experience.
路Paid, sector-leading training and a comprehensive induction programme.
路Long service awards offering extra annual leave and pay as recognition for your loyalty.
路Enhanced maternity and paternity pay.
路28 days of annual leave including bank holidays.
路Supportive management with regular one-to-one supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings.
路Complimentary meals during your shift.
路Access to discount schemes including the Blue Light Card for retail, leisure, and travel savings.
路NEST pension scheme and wellbeing support through an Employee Assistance Programme.
路拢500 staff referral bonus.
路Free Enhanced DBS check.
Requirements
路Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Residential Children's Home at Senior or Deputy level.
路Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Children and Young People (minimum).
路Strong knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
