Pay: 460-500 per week

We are recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Letchworth Garden City. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact within the education and training sector, supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Key Points About the SEMH Teaching Assistant Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEMH needs
• Help students regulate emotions, build confidence, and develop positive behaviours
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to deliver targeted interventions
• Assist in creating a structured, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Use de-escalation strategies and promote student wellbeing
• Contribute to personalised learning plans and progress tracking

What we're looking for:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Ability to commute to Letchworth Garden City
• Strong interest in supporting learners with SEN
