About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our clients team in early 2025. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a production environment handling high-volume, low-volume, and bespoke tasks. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to read basic assembly drawings, and a versatile skill set for various assembly and soldering tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume repeat and low-volume repeat production tasks.
- Execute bespoke production work using basic assembly drawings.
- Conduct through-hole soldering with precision.
- Perform occasional surface-mount soldering as required.
- Prepare cables and use crimping tools effectively.
- Handle general light assembly work with attention to detail and quality.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency in through-hole and surface-mount soldering techniques.
- Skilled in cable preparation and crimping tool usage.
- Ability to read and interpret basic assembly drawings.
- Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety in assembly work.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
