You will be responsible for overseeing the workshop and production process, from creating workshop schedules to supporting engineers with quality, health, and safety. You will be heavily involved in continuous improvement, supporting the reconfiguration of the shop floor and movement into new facilities.
The role:
- Organise production schedules, monitoring and improving productivity
- Supervising staff and providing effective, visible leadership on the shop floor
- Maintaining long-term relationships with clients
- Ensuring a high standard of health and safety and equipment maintenance
The person:
- Experience managing a team in a production environment
- Sheet metal fabrication background
