Description
As the Accounts Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
- Ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded
- Responding to invoice queries
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required
- Assisting with month-end and financial planning processes
- Participating in processing staff expenses
- Reviewing aged debtor reports
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Assisting with financial data entry tasks
- Ad-hoc support to the Finance team in Lewes
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Proficiency in financial software programs
- Experience working in a similar role - Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper etc.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
