The Role

The Town Council is recruiting a Caretaker to carry out the day-to-day caretaking, cleaning, opening/locking up duties at the three Council venues

Caretakers are responsible for basic building and equipment maintenance, repair,set-up and breakdown of events and functions, cleaning, stock monitoring, and assisting the Venue Managers where appropriate.

If you have experience in a similar role, are reliable, hands-on and comfortable working independently, have the ability to remain calm and act diplomatically when dealing with the public, have an understanding of how buildings work and are able to carry out minor repairs, then they’d love to hear from you.
