The Role
We are recruiting an Electronics Repairs Technician to join a growing repairs and manufacturing environment based in Lewes.

This is a hands-on role focused on component-level electronics repair, fault-finding, and testing. You will work on electronic assemblies, diagnosing faults, carrying out SMT and through-hole rework, and ensuring repaired units meet defined quality and performance standards.
  
  
Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies to component level
• SMT and through-hole soldering and rework
• Identify root cause of faults, not just symptoms
• Functional testing of repaired units
• Soak and load testing where required
• Maintain accurate repair and test records
• Work to defined quality, safety, and technical standards

Required Experience

• HNC / HND / OND in Electronics or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ electronics repair, test, or manufacturing experience
• Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge
• Confident reading schematics and circuit diagrams
• Experience using common electronic test equipment
• High attention to detail and methodical working style

  
Desirable

• IPC certification (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001)
• SMT rework station experience
• Manufacturing or repairs-centre background
