Private Client Solicitor - 5 Years PQELewesUp to £60,000About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our clients respected and growing Private Client team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client matters and play a key role in delivering exceptional client service.Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on all aspects of private client work including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Trust creation and administration
- Powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters
- Inheritance Tax and succession planning
- Managing a complex caseload with minimal supervision
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering a proactive and empathetic approach
- Supporting junior members of the team through supervision and mentoring
- Participating in business development and marketing initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in private client work
- Strong technical knowledge of private client law and tax
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships
- STEP qualification (or working towards) highly desirable
- Commercially aware with a proactive attitude toward business development
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
