We are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join our team in Lewes, delivering exceptional service and specialist advice to UK and international private individuals, including multi-generational families, high net worth individuals, and entrepreneurs.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct estate planning, including the preparation of Wills and advice on lifetime giving.
- Provide advice on the creation, administration, and termination of trusts.
- Handle probate and estate administration, including advising on Deeds of Variation.
- Prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Engage in continuous professional development to keep up-to-date with legal practices and provide the best advice to clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor.
- Experience or knowledge in the taxation of trusts would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills, adaptability, and accuracy.
- Professional demeanour with a client-focused approach.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility, resilience, and capability to handle change.
- Experience in managing or supervising junior team members is preferred.
