Cover Supervisor

We are currently working with a school in Lewes to recruit a full-time Cover Supervisor who is passionate about supporting students’ learning and progress. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive school community where your contribution will have a real impact.

About the Role

In this role, you will supervise full classes, small groups or individuals in the absence of a classroom teacher, ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged with their learning. There is minimal planning or marking involved, and the position is available for an immediate start.

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with students aged 11-16.
• Are confident delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Can build strong, positive relationships with students.
• Are reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to making a difference.
• Are passionate about education and student achievement.

Applications are encouraged from individuals with any level of experience. While prior experience supporting students with challenging behaviour is beneficial, it’s not a requirement. This opportunity is also ideal for those considering a future career in teaching or those with experience as a Youth Worker or Behaviour Mentor.
