Pay: £89.05–£100 per day

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN TA/INA to provide 1:1 support for children with a range of special educational needs across EYFS to Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
  • Assist in developing the child’s social, emotional, and communication skills.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement strategies and learning plans.
  • Adapt activities and materials to meet the child’s specific learning needs.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and Qualities Required:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable. • A flexible, patient approach and a passion for supporting children’s development.
  • Ability to build a trusting and supportive relationship with the child, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • A current DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply.
  • The right to work in the UK.
