We have a great opportunity for an experienced QC Technician to join our client who are a concrete repair and protection manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Testing all production batches in accordance with Quality Plans and Test procedures.
  • Ensuring products are tested in accordance with EN1504.
  • Reporting any out of specification results to the Laboratory Technician-Cements (QC) immediately, on a day-to-day basis.
  • Maintaining accurate quality records.
  • Ensuring efficient timely clearance and receipt of all raw materials.
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained in the laboratory and associated work environments.
  • Contributing proactively to team meetings.
  • Maintaining and calibrating lab test equipment.
  • Attending assigned training courses.
  • Completing other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with OHSAS 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 certification and policies



Role Requirements:

  • GCSE Math's, English & a Science or equivalent - Grade C or above.
  • Quality control background preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Able to follow processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Good teamwork
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
